The purpose of this website is to provide an easily-accessed source of current information about the issues that may come before the Pensacola City Council. It is imperative that the citizens of Pensacola be knowledgable because, as Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1810, "The information of the people at large can alone make them safe as they are the sole depository of our political and religious freedom."

So please visit often and keep informed. By your enlightened and regular participation you will help ensure that your City Council fulfills its obligation to govern openly, fairly, intelligently, and with integrity.

You may at times disagree with the decisions I make, but you will know that those decisions are made after deep study and consideration....based on reason, not emotion... for the benefit of the community as can be determined from the facts... and being ever mindful of the sacredness of the public trust.
